Whitish/blue smoke
I have a 2006 Ford F-250 Diesel. It has a Air Raid cold air intake, Bullydog triple dog chip, and a 5" turbo back exhaust with no catalytic converter. The problem I am having is when I am idling at a light or stop sign or in traffic, the truck smokes quite a bit. If I put it in neutral or park it stops smoking. Does anyone else have this problem or knows what this might be and how to fix it? You can reply here or to my email at kjcarro@comcast.net

I am going back to my old school diesel knoledge on this one. I always see this on my boat when the engines are cold. Whitish/Blue is unburnt Fuel. You could have extra unburnt fuel in the exhaust system. I have seen this on my truck when I idle her for a long time, or if there is allot of stop and go city driving. What happens just after you drive 80 MPH for an hour? Reciently, my dealer was idling my truck for hours. When I picked her up, it was smoking. Nothing a good highway ride couldnt fix.
