Cleaning the screen would be a good idea especially if you already have your hands dirty. Do that and the frp shim, they will give your truck a smoother idle. But nothing in performance. (click here) for instructions, a little more than 1/2 way down

I guess I didnt read your earlier posts about the dyno. That is really cool that you are doing this comparison. If you dont mind me asking do they charge you for each dyno run or hourly? I've never even been near one so I have no idea.

Now next on your list of goodies; superduty hpop (to run the bigger injectors), intercooler, idm mod....... mmmmm what else, oh ya the list goes on

allright thanks foremanES i will try that fpr shim and cleaning that screen, it there any other little things i can do to help this old girl out?

as far as the dyno goes it is in Green Bay about 45min away from where i live (chilton) and about an hour away from where i am going to be working on the truck (sturgeon bay) so its kinda on my way so i will just stop by on my trip too and from the shop, i have never ran anything on a chassi dyno befor and this one that i am going to is actually for big rigs, they told me that we would figure out a price later. All i have to do is let them know the day befor i show up both times and they said they might just let me run it for FREE!!! either that or only like $75 total after both times of stoppin in

as far as the future plans go i had planned on getting the idm mod right away with the rest of this stuff but beans told me that they were out of cores so if i wanted it done my truck would be down for a week or so because i would have to send them mine to have it done, so i just opted to do this at a later time...

and does anybody know if the hpop from an international is any better? cuz i have 3 of those i can rob parts off of and i plan on at least takeing the CPS and switching it out with my stock one..... so the only thing i need to find now is an intercooler

well i talked to beans agin yesterday and they said the injectors are still on backorder but i should have them by the end of next week so if thats the case i wont be installing them untill the week of the 19th....

but on a higher note this past weekend i installed the gauges does 16lbs of boost sound right for everything still being stock? good thing it wont be stock for long

Sounds about right for stock.

If you want to test your max boost try this:

1. find a fairly long straight hill as steep as possible

2. Approach it at 60 MPH not in OD

3. As soon as you start to climb nail the accelerator to the floor

4. Keep one eye on the boost gauge and the other on the road

5. If you get to 22 psi and it quits the PCM may be defueling and you will have to put a preasure relief valve in the MAP line

That sucks about the injectors, are you getting new ones or rebuilt? 16psi sounds normal for stock tuning.

Not sure about the international hpop, just make sure it is a 17deg like on the newer 00+ 7.3 trucks, they put out 30% more volume.

wow it's been a long time... sorry to keep you guys in the dark

well the injectors finally came in today so it looks like next week i should be bringing the truck into the shop and start the installation of everything

as far as the dyno goes i stopped by the place last week and strapped the truck on for its stock run. turns out the dyno is just a rolling HP dyno so i couldnt get any TQ numbers for you guys

run #1 dyno came on at 40mph and it made 131 HP
run #2 dyno came on at 50mph and it made 154 HP
run #3 dyno came on at 60mph and it made 169 HP

but i did find anouther chassi dyno in green bay so i might be calling those guys up to run it there so i can get some real numbers for you guys
