Where do you find part numbers?

Where do you find part numbers?
I ordered the Autolock Hubs O rings from y2kford. I used the part number from Guzzle's maintenence page. Ed from y2k emailed me back and said he can't match that part number up to my VIN number. I told him it should be 2 O rings and one snap ring for the autolock hubs. He couldn't verify that is what I needed for my truck. Guzzle has and 02 and so do I so I'm sure the O rings will work. I have the Ford factory service manual on DVD but it really isn't very good at getting part numbers, unless I am not finding something on the DVD that shows part numbers. How do you guys find all these part numbers??????

It's the only o-ring I remember from having the whole shabang apart replacing ball-joints.

just an update
My local dealer had trouble with this part #.
In searching I found that Dorman has an equivalent part, # 81060
Activant Cover-to-Cover
My Ford guy was able to find the part

It's a valid number not sure why your local dealer is having a issue with it.
