Ok,time to hijack my own post.
As long as I have been posting on FTE I have dealt with Mil1ion.Back when he was an administrator he came after me a few times with a hickory switch,(good thing I am a fast runner) But he has never come off as arogant or condesen, condacen, cond,AH FORGET THAT WORD!Anyway, leave him alone. He is a nice guy,and besides,Dont you see where he lives! He is neighbors with Santa Claus, and one word from him and you go on the naughty list,so knock it off!Oh yeah, one other thing, red jameez?

I apologize...for having the backbone to publicly disagree with the great Mil1ion. I meant nothing personal. I thought the "nanny-nanny-boo-boo" thing would be a clue to someone, anyone, that I wasn't trying to flame anyone. Oh well.

Publically Disagree all you want.

Just make sure you read the text correctly and understand what was said before disagreeing... so you know what you are disagreeing to.

Politicians do it wrong all the time ..it's called "SPIN".

The "arrogant & condescending" comment however was personal as it had nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

I don't spin anything, ever. That's something for people who fear the truth. And no, I was definately not trying to be personal, just honest. I simply can't remember a single post of yours that I didn't find to have an arrogant and/or condescending tone to it. And yes, text most certainly does have a tone. Have you ever read anything by Edgar Allen Poe that sounded like Emily Dickenson? You're a smart guy, so probably not. You're probably aware that Poe has a mostly dark, gothic style...or Tone. Look this is childish, so let's stop alright? Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Speaking as an active duty military member, we appreciate the show of support in such uncertain times. Whether it's red on Friday, or whatever else folks do, we appreciate it. Thank you.

code3 i don't care if you're active president.. you've jumped on a respected member of the forum with about half the pertinent facts. you've been active for less than a yr., jump ugly with someone that has done nothing but positively contribute, and do it in a wide open thread. you feel the need to attack someone i'd suggest you purchase a supporter tag, go to club fte and try it there where your tough guy, knock down the long timer attitude will get handed to you like .... i for one(of many) have NEVER seen arrogance from Mil1on. i've seen wisdom, wit, and while my wife was dying, unbridled compassion.
quit picking fights or one better, get your supporter tag. club fte would love to read your input. we don't want your assaults here. i'm on thin ice anyways so if you want to flame someone, do it where those of us that respect the site can answer with less decorum.

king, yes i had my jameez

Ok, I tried to end this pissing contest when I apologized for hijacking the thread.

Mil1ion, sorry for the misunderstanding (OR - nice rebound on your part; whatever).

Lenny, this is (repeat after me) an in-ter-net for-um. This is not a bar. If this "your tough guy, knock down the long timer attitude will get handed to you like .... " was a threat, not only was it lame, it was also empty and ineffective. I mean, what does that mean anyway? You going to kick my e-azz? Also, do I not get to have an opinion that sometimes clashes with the long-timers unless I pay for it by being a supporter? I had an email exchange with one of the big boys at FTE about being a supporter. I would like to be a supporter, but he knows why I'm not. He told me to keep it out of the forums, and I will respect his wishes.

If I have not offended you in this thread, thanks for keeping your sense of perspective and realizing there are more important things in this world than chat rooms and forums.

If I have offended you, I apologize. My intention was not to flame anyone. Please note, however, that this is only an internet forum. Get over yourself and get out more often.

Talking

I received that same email at about the same time this thread must have been started. I try to wear something red on Fridays, but my old memory ain't what she otter be. In any case... yes.. I support the idea and wear red on Fridays when I remember to.

Sure glad the derogatory poo has ended. I've met Dennis, had a fine dinner with he and his wife, along with another FTE member, who drove up here from Missoula to join us. I can honestly say that Dennis speaks his mind, as I do. I've been called arrogant, before, for stating what's on my mind and I probably am. After all, I'm an American and according to the PC police, we are all that way. So..as long as it's the PC police calling me that... I sit here arrogantly proud.... and dressed in red...sometimes even on the wrong day!
