None of us like this war and would love to bring our boys and ladies back home, but we can't.
I disagree. If you can organize a few million people to wear the same colour sweater on the same day of the week then you can organize yourselves to demand some accountability from those creeps in Washington that started this.

Im not going to get into this because this isnt the place but and im only going to say with the upmost respect I disagree with that and we need to finish the job we started and not just quit all of a sudden and run back. TheseColorsDontRun.
This was not meant as a political debate,so please dont turn it into one.I dont think anyone will disagree with me when I say that the troops who are over there were sent there by someone else. So,this thread was to inform and to try and get others to show our troops that we care about them.Thats all.SO WEAR RED ON FRIDAY!

I know you like to call stuff on me because I'm Canadian but.
I didn't say that the Canadian wives were the STARTERS of this observance.
I said that the wives of Canadian soldiers STARTED this observance IN CANADA.
as opposed to saying...... the Royal Canadian Legion or McDonalds starting it in Canada.
If I was to say the wives of Canadian soldiers CREATED this observance or this
Red Friday was FIRST started in Canada ..then you would be correct........But, I didn't say that.
Best way to support the troops is to vote out the elected officials that support this non war meat grinder........I respect every man and woman in uniform but not the crooks and liers that want another veit nam

..Go Pick on France
You are incorrect again sir. I like calling stuff on you because of your arrogant and condescinding style of writing. You're most likely not like that face-to-face, but that's the way you come off online. Me on the other hand; I'm always an a55h01e. You're right about 1 thing though; France sucks.
Might I add that you say, type,or shake the hands of every serviceman that you encounter. A simple thank you will mean more than we'll ever know. I've approached several men and women in uniform just to say thank you. If you really want to get into it, 4 months ago when my brother came home from ft benning we ate breakfast at the cracker barrel and had a woman pay our bill before we were finished. She shook his hand and said thank you as she left. Your actions say more than you ever can.
Canadians as a rule are polite (plus, I was raised that way on purpose) and text contains ....No Tone !
Perhaps it is you that takes thing the wrong way ?
I have met several FTE people all over Canada & a few states .....ask them
Btw, I edited my previous reply at the bottom
Dennis - I have been here much longer than "Nanny-nanny-boo-boo" and I have disagreed with you from time to time, but I have never found you to be "arrogant and condescending". Everyone has a right to form opinions , but thankfully we can place our own value on them, giving them high regard or seeing them as just smoke from an empty vessel. Please continue to be 1 in a million and disregard the smoke.

very well said Dono. (note to everyone...hell has not frozen over)
i've got my red Jameez on now and will be red dressed after my shower. God bless the troops, past and present.
