A couple weeks ago, I started getting this message whenever I tried to log into Yahoo! e-mail, or if I tried to order something online:
"you cannot connect because SSL is disabled"
I clicked on "Tools" and then Options" to see if I could reset something within the security tabs, but I'm afraid it's beyond my limited computer skills. I don't have this issue when I open the IE browser, only Firefox. It only happens on my desktop, not the laptop. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this? I e-mailed Firefox, but they never responded.
Jeff - good to see you mate, how are "dem beemers" treating you - drove a 335i the other day. MAN what a car!!!
I can only imagine how they are walking off the lots. oh, sorry for the lack of technical advice
I tried IE 7....didn't like it and switced back to 6. Just this moring I received an email from PC Magazine with a article about a flaw in IE7 that would allow a phish attack.
Ahh...Microsoft....the more you change the more you stay the same.
Well, I fixed it. I upgraded to Mozilla 2.0, as nothing else would work, not even Mozilla's own suggestions for the fixes.
As for "Beemer World," I'm afraid that's history. Sales tanked in August (REAL sales, not the numbers that BMW reports to the public- great car but questionable sales policies and procedures), and they laid me off. I took some time to consider what I wanted to do, and drew on my past experience on drafting and furniture. As a result, I'm now designing and selling kitchens for Lowe's. Great company, and I'm having a blast. Despite that, the time I spent selling trucks to FTE members will always stand out as a highlight in my life. I'll never forget it, and appreciate everyone I worked with here.
