I have a fiberglass century top and like it so far. It is lockable, secure, and painted to match my truck.

I have not had to haul anything above the bed rails yet so all is good. If I ever need to as previously stated I will need some help removing the cover.

So Far........... I really like the cover and the lockability of it on trips.

Study on how you will be using your truck and if you need the option of removing the cover and hauling something large and the top at the same time.

Good luck and enjoy!!!!!!!!

Please keep this updated if it rains. This cover is on the top of my list the next time. Have read a couple of places where they have leaked badly and were returned. The leaks are described as so severe that I wonder if they botched the install???

It was miserable out last night, rain, sleet snow and back to rain. All day today as well. And 50mph winds. Had 3 cardboard boxes back there all dry as a bone. Very, very minimal leakage. I'm talking about a few drips that rolled down the side. So I am happy. I love the way it operates and looks. Later...FLU

I bought a bakflip for my 2005 Screw FX4. It works great. It's a trifold so I still have a hard cover, and I can fold it up, or even take it off in a few minutes. I also researched for a long time, and the Bakflip is what I found to be the best...

I also found that the Bakflip works great as a headache rack.

Undercover for me. I had a fiberglass cover on mine before, but am loving the Undercover over it any day. Weatherproof, waterproof, easy to mount and remove. Paintable.

But the thing I like the best is I can climb on it without worrying about breaking it. I had to get to the point of the roof a couple of weeks ago. The ladder would not quite reach, so I backed the truck up and put the ladder on the Undercover.

+1 for the Extang Full Tilt, with snaps. I got one for my '07 Supercab. Easy to operate. You can unsnap in any section if you have a need for an item and know where you put it. You can roll it up or you can just lift the whole thing. $307 to my front door, free shipping, from Amazon.com. You'll like it. Bobdad

I'm a big fan of the fibreglas covers. I've had three of them on my last three trucks. The last two were Magnum covers. Outanding covers, painted to match the trucks, bear claw latches (no squeeking), lockable (secure), clamp-on mounting (no holes in the top of the box), pull strap to help closing (the wife likes that) and never a drop of water or snow in the bed, except from the gap at the bottom of the endgate .

Not for everyone though, especially if you need to haul large packages frequently or you need to take off and on a lot, it is a heavy unit. I have driven down the highway with it open and it doesn't move - it's that solid. Other times I just strap it down as far as it can go onto the box or whatever I am hauling.

BAKFlip owners,

Do you have to drill holes for the drain tubes in an 07 F150 with a 6.5' box?

I just knocked out the holes in the back wall of the bed. I plan on drilling holes through those two pieces and reinstalling them.

You can drill holes, but like flyboyford said, you run the hoses through the plugs in the bed (I did drill mine out also). If you ever get rid of the cover, just buy new plugs (a few bucks) and good as new.

Advance Aluminum works great...2 doors hinged in the middle, opens like a picnic basket.
Solid & dry after 1 year.
