probably would need a code reader to find out what is causing the "light" to come on - it may or may not be a big deal. Mine came on one day, so I brought it in to the Ford dealer, they hooked it up and found out that my 4x4 solenoid was bad. I bought the part and changed it in about 3 min. - been running fine every since.

If your truck is an 04 this might help you. https://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/full...hp?tsb=05-14-4

If still under warranty take it to your dealer.
