IAC maintenance question

I have a '92 Bronco, auto w/5.0. After I clean the IAC do I need to reset it? If so, what is the procedure? Thanks for any help!

Nope. The computer does that on every startup and shutdown.

The idle should reset itself after you clean the IAC. I get a little blowby on my 91 302 and every couple of months mine will act up and I use Valvoline TB cleaner and it works fine after.

Great thanks! Gave the IAC a cleaning, but didn't solve the rough idle problem. Back to the drawing board.

IAC maintenance question

Have you tried replacing the fuel pressure regulator near the firewall ? Mine was idling rough as well as surging and it took care of it. Only cost about $15. and takes about 30 minutes or so to replace. Either way, it's not a bad item to replace anyway.
