My truck blew an auto hub today... came apart in pieces... what is needed to change over to manuals... is there anything else needed besides the hubs.. ie.. conversion kit etc...
without taking the hub back apart.. how can I tell if I have a dana 44 or 50.. I cant find an axle tag... the bottom of the case has a 50 stamped on it... am I to assume that it is a 50....
if it helps my truck is 4600lb front / 8800lb total
Thanks,
Pat

If its a f-250 then its a 50. Warn has an auto hub conversion kit that has different spline nuts for the manual type. The warn standard hubs are ~$100 and the premiums are ~$250.
