wow i cnat imagine how scary it is to make a turn with that up there? i think i would of hung a little more off the back. 1 thing is for certain no big trucks will be swerving into your lane i.e. head on!!!!

It drove good.

There were 2 beams on the rack. 43' long & weighed 2,700# total. They look longer because of the angle of the picture. The Truck is just over 25' long and I hung 10' off the back so It only stuck over about 8' on the front. I wasn't worried about the back because I was pulling a trailer. But the front...

I'm not really sure I broke any traffic laws. I certainly was not over 26,000#. I may have broke the speed limit getting there, which is about 2 hours away. I DID leave at 3:30 this morning to beat any traffic. I had planned on shipping those 2 beams wuth a hot shot next week but the contractor decided he needed them today. I couldn't find anyone on such short notice, so...

I'm going up there next Tuesday or Wednesday and I'm gonna whip somebody if those beams aren't hung!
