Casting Number?

Hey Yaw!
I want to know where the casting numbers are on my 300 head? The only numbers I see is on my water outlet. Does it mean thats the numbers for the head? Thanks

I looked on mine that is off the engine and I don't see one. I know the block has one but appearantly the head doesn't.

dang! well if anybody knows but if there are no numbers thats just weird and kinda dumb but I am going to get more research Thanks! Austin

The casting number for the head is just underneath of the thermostat housing. It faces down so the only way you can see it is with a mirror or while you have the head off. Its on the part that over hangs the block if that helps a little more.
