I replaced the belt tensioner and will say the new one has twice as much torque as the stock unit. The belt has no rebound now.
When it rains it pours, after I got the new tensioner put on & belt I got to start the engine and it cranked like it wasn't going to start. Come to find out the original alternator gave up the ghost and had to install a new one of those,it's been an adventure!

So you replaced the tensioner, belt, and alternator? And now you have no more vibration?
I replaced my alternator about 15,000 miles ago. I still have the stock tensioner and an old belt. May be time to change.
I replaced the belt before the tensioner which did nothing for the vibration, did the tensioner and found the alternator was toast at the same time.
I spoke to a couple folks and stated that the alternator may create noise/vibration when they go belly up. Could be a 50/50 for the aternator and tensioner for the vibration is gone.
The new alternator is fantastic but the HPOP can't keep up now with the cranking speed
