stolen truck found
I got the truck back this weekend, minor damage dented fender, broken headlight, scratches, little things like that. All my stero equipment is gone and insurance doesent want to cover bareley anything so im gettin screwed but their replacing my gauges so not all is lost.

Man I understand. Mine was gone for three days and I had already starting shopping then cops found mine. Electronics were all gone as well as everything behind the seat, oh and the 4 wheeler in the bed.
Got everything back together and had no mechanical damage. But, its just not the same truck that it was. Feeling violated is probably the right word.
Found out you can take a standard #2 screw driver and a hammer to unlock the door.
My 1999 did not have the chipped key, so they used the same screwdriver to jam into the ignition switch and drove off. So much for safety. Oh yeah, I had a Club locked on the steering wheel. They froze the lock with liquid nitro and broke it off with the hammer.

Nothing funnier than walking up and saying "take the screwdriver out of the ignition, and step out of the vehicle." Sadly, sometimes that is actually the owner.
