I need the push button 4X4 computer

I have a 1990 Bronco and the computer for the 4x4 works sometimes and at other times it doesn't. I am looking for some one to sell me a computer.

i am wondering if it would be cheaper to replace the computer or drop the computer of to a repair shop.

How do you know it's the computer failing? It's MUCH more common for the shift motor to fail.

I hear a clicking beside the passanger side kick board. Plus the guy I bought the truck from told me that he had the box looked at before and someone did a temporary fix but they told him that the box would need to be replaced.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Jan-03 AT 10:43 PM (EST)]Did you follow that link? The shift computer is SUPPOSED to click when it's trying to shift. But when the motor seizes or the contacts corrode, it can't shift. Your problem is most likely the same as everyone else's - fix your motor & undo whatever was done to the wiring. A Haynes manual will show what wires go where.
