Why? Do you feel as i do, it doesnt have to be that hard? You just make sure it does'nt have alcohol and try it and if it starts to cause problems quit using it. Seems simple to me.

No, they want $7.95 a bottle with the coupon so that's a discounted price. Stanadyne is more concentrated so you can use less than DK, but that's still $2.00 more than the last time I found it. I don't know how much from the coupon because there is no size or picture on it.

Thank ya there KW. Come to find out, DK,and PS are made by the same company RAMCO who makes all kinds of ludes and cleaners. Stanadyne, DK, and PS are very much alike. I really did'nt see where anyone was any better than the other. Other than stanadyne has an additive thats has anti-gel i think PS does too leaving DK not having an anti-gel. But as far as raising cetane and cleaning etc, etc just as effective.

Ah, the lovely power of the Internet....

I was quite pleased (and flattered) to find an old post of mine, made many years ago, on the tail end of the additives discussion (The second link). I didn't know I had so much sticking power.
