ts performance 6pos chip question

I just Installed the chip yesterday and the go pedal acts really weird when on, I mean when on stock the pedal is fine but when turned on it seems like when I push on the pedal I hear the "click" and I have to push past that for it to go and when it goes it goes!!!!! to hard sometimes. when the chip is off I push on the pedal and hear the "click" and it is easy does it. Maybe this sounds weird or I am just not used to it yet but I had the superchips tuner on it before I got the ts and the pedal felt normal when that was installed. Any advice or anybody that has this chip could let me know how theirs is. thanks

It sounds like you may just not be used to it yet...but if it remains too touchy for your taste you can have them reburn it with less tip in fuel.

Does it do it the same on every chip setting?

I found that programmers have a touchy throttle (at least the edge), while the chip gives a smoother more usable throttle

It does it on all 4 performance settings. My truck is a crewcab and when this happens it takes a while for the power to get to the rear wheels....so I am afraid the the driveshaft could twist or throw joints maybe even twist an axle shaft. It hits HARD

you won't be breaking any axle, joints or drive shafts with your chip don't worry! you need alot more power to be breaking parts. unless they are damaged or you already have a u-joint going out.

I have the chip and haven't noticed any thing like that. Throttle is much more touchy, as where it doesn't take as much pedal to get you going but no clicking. Have you called up the seller to see if they have had these problems reported to them in the past? They might have a answer for you. Good luck!

I called ts and they said to send the chip back and they will se if it was programed wrong. So first thing monday morning I will send it back to get looked at. The clicking sound is coming from the pedal itself I am thinking maybe the tps but not shure. I just pulled my fuel tanks b/c of a leak on the rubber seal between sending unit and tank.... one thing after another BUT I STILL LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the click is normal. its the Idle validation switch. probably didn't hear it or notice it when stock. could be that right when the click came on the engine came to life too.
