ok from this post, i am trying to find the vehicle speed sensor wire to tap into for my navigation. which wire should i be able to tap into?
seems kind of hoopty to have to go all the way to the transmission or rear axle for a speed sensor wire. isn't there maybe one in the cab?
What MY truck is this on?
If you can't find it behind the radio... maybe a look at the PCM module... on the passnger side firewall. It will also be (should be) a Gray/blk wire there- Iirc maybe pin location# 63 or 64. I have it documented here somewhere...let us know if (all) this doesn't work...
thanks guys, this helped alot! now finally my navigation finally works properly! and it also helps to have the antenna in a better location and recalibrating the unit to my f150 instead of my sport trac!
