HELP with hood lock

Seems in my hurry to get done with changing the water pump, somewhere along the process I tripped the hood lock. Didn't notice it until I closed the hood and it didn't close. Now the secondary lock won't release the hood and the primary lock is in the closed position so the hood sticks up about a half inch. Anybody know how to fix this?

You should be able to pull the hood release and open the primary lock, then the secondary should open correctly.

Got my fat butt up on the hood while the wife pulled the secondary and got it to release. Opened primary and now it works again....
