Hood alinement on 1952
I need some advice on getting a hood to alined up on both sides on the truck. It is a 1952 F1 and one side the hood hits the finder and on the other it has about a 1" gap. It opens and close fine with no hitting the fresh air duck when it is closed. Any information will be welcome. The hood doesn"t look bend or out of shape. Neither side of the hood has the rubber gromits in place because I didn"t want to put dents in the finder on the hitting finder side.

Close the hood, loosen the 3 nuts inside the cab under the dash that mount the hinge brackets - both sides and then move it around a bit to 'settle' the mounts. Tighten the nuts and see what you have.
About the only thing the shop manual helps with is that if you want a side to move down, you need to move the bracket up.
This is mostly theory for me - I just keep pushing the one side of mine down when I park.
