Question diesel ranger

has anyone put a diesel in a ford ranger. I'm talking later model 99 and up model. was thinking about trying a conversion but not sure where to start. any ideas would be appreciated.

Try to find you an older one. I see a few around here and most still run good and when ever I see one for sale it isn't cheap. They still go for pretty good money.

If I was going to put one in a late model I believe I would look for a motor out of a small Isuzu W4 truck. They aren't bad motors but they won't take over heating though. I used to work on them alot. They are turbo charged.

I've heard of a few using the Cummins 4BT(3.9). One guy even uses his at the drags, cant remember what time he's running though.
