thats what i am wondering too. i would think it would due to the simple fact it doesnt show anymore of a break down than it does. but the price is kinda rediculous. maybe i will go over to the dealer here in a couple minutes and check it out.
this is why i have faith that it is ready to go and a complete carrier w/clutches. notice the comparison in prices.

ok well i just saw your post. man i can never get a good deal. i wonder what the price of the clutches and gears are in addition to the price.
ok i just checked out the site again for obs carriers and i see clutches are 155 and the carrier for a semi floater is 255 and full floater is 1000.00. and an open is 3 something. i didnt see the option to click on the clutches for the 10.50 carrier. somethings up here. i gotta know for sure.

I was a bit worried when you posted that, I just bought one from aldridgec and thought I moved too fast. Anyway, I think the $$ are reversed. If I wanted a new one I'd jump all over it. All the other parts are the same way. BTW: Thats for the 2 pinion spyder, the one you want is a 3 pinion from what joe was saying.
my sd carrier is a 3 pinion, it looks like a disfigured u-joint in the middle of the case, last spring i priced a brand new 10.25 carrier(complete) from my dealer for under 250, there seems to be alot of confusion going on about part numbers and prices, i will take care of that tomarrow, i will get a part number and a list price for a sd 10.5 complete carrier
i called but my buddy was off today and the guy workin the counter doesnt know his butt from a hole in the ground so i didnt even bother checkin with him
