Question the best torque converter!

Well, I know that this is a well discussed topic but I am looking for an opinion. Who makes the best torque converter at this time?

I have access to banks and BDdiesel at our parts store but I don't want to get something that isn't that great. Thanks for the help.

I would recommend a Precision Industries "Stallion" converter. It is the one that BTS uses and the reason it works so good because it is painted a pretty shade of purple. $1200ish.

Well best is really subjective.
If I were buying a converter right now, it would be a Suncoast or one from TCS performance, most likely though, it would be a UCC converter from Faubion transmissions.

The Suncoast and TCS performance converter are great options for the 1200+ range, so is the Precision Industries converter that BTS uses.

Faubion can whip up something just as good for a good bit less money.

Thanks for the reply, where can I find the Precision Industries "Stallion" converter?

I have heard of how good BTS products and rebuilt transmissions are and I would like to use the one that they use.

I am in the wrong line of work. I tell myself that everytime I visit my friend at the fire station.

BTW: gregrob, is there a Fuabion site? Suppose I could do a search. I have heard quite a bit about their stuff.
