I have this one - ordered it from camping world on Saturday night, and it shipped Monday, and I had it Wednesday when I got home from work. I put it on in about 15 minutes, and I put the tailgate on by myself. It really makes the tailgate lighter! I like it. I may order on for my dad.
I really want to install that torsion bar, but here my problem.
I have a "Line of Fire" LED strip mounted in the space below the tailgate on the box. Will there be enough clearance between the two? Hate to buy , drill holes, and crunch my light strip.
Any thoughts out there??

TimCommon,
I will try to get some pictures. It does not go below the tailgate edge when it is up. I think it should clear the light OK. I like this device. It really makes the tailgate lighter. The only down side I see is that it is now not so easy to remove the tail gate.
Would really appeciate some pics as I am ready to relieve some effort in raising that tail gate of mine.Removing the tail gate is not an issue with me, so no problem there.
If anybody wants a picture of this lift, send an email to JBAWILLIAMS@MAHASKA.ORG, with TAILGATE LIFT in the subject line, and I will reply with pictures.
I talked w/ auto truck toys on the Tailgate damper availablity for the F250. It seems the original design was flawed and wouldn't let the tailgate close fully. The manufacturer withdrew the item from retail sales and are redesigning it before rereleasing it.
No word on when the new damper will be out. The F150 model works fine but can't be adapted to the F250.
I got mine about a week ago. I think I ordered it in the fall and it finally came off of back-order.
Installed it last Friday night. Took about 30 minutes or less.
Very pleased with it, although the instructions are not very accurate. The basic procedure is correct, but in the instructions they list the size wrenches/sockets you need and those are not correct.
I'm super pleased with the product. If I just open the tailgate and let it fall on its own gravity it takes about 5 seconds to open completely.
Installation was easy and it seems well engineered.
I got mine on Monday. I installed it on Thursday I had to buy a 6mm allen wrench I had all the other tools, 5/16 socket,13mm open end ,7/16 open end (T50 torx Supplied). Easy install works great I wish that I had it before I wrecked my left shoulder when I lost control of that heavy tailgate.

Put mine in yesterday, no worries. Did have to drill another hole as I had a tailgate lock wire running through the original hole that the damper uses for the plate. All in all a great addon!
