Looks pretty cool but their fitment guide doesn't have a kit listed for the Super Duty. Has anyone found one specifically for the Super Duty?

It doesn't look like they have the F250's, only the F150's. Have you taked with them about the one for the F250's? I guess I'll wait for the others to come in, so they say within the next few weks.

I think the F-150s and F-250s have the same tailgate.

I found this tailgate for sale on e-bay. It shows that they are all the same.

If you look at their website though they are showing it in operation on the new body style of the F150, a totally different tailgate than the Super Duty. The old F150 body style may have had the same tailgate as the current Super Duties. I wouldn't mind having one but I'll wait until they have one listed specifically for the Super Duty. If you look at them on JC Whitney's website it's the same way, F150 only (new body style).

I've got one of these on my truck. You can literally lower and lift the tailgate with one finger. Can't beat it for about 25 bucks!

Red face

It isn't clear how it is installed on the tailgate. Is it inside it, on the side, outside it? Can you explain where it attach's?

Thanks!

Isn't that pretty much what the '04 up F-150 has?

Wolf , If you have the patience to download the installation video( had another surgery,so I've had plenty of free time!). It explains it.one end of the the spring metal rod goes in about 1 1/2"in to a hole you drill close to the tail light. The other to a hole you dril in the bottom of the tailgate. I know that doesn't sound reall clear, but looks like it'd work. As soon as you open the tailgate, it starts loading the rod. Oviously then it takes quite a bit of the weight off to make it easier to close. Clear as mud??...Brian
