Will a steering wheel from a 2002 Expedition or or the new F150's fit a 1994 F150? My steering wheel, leather covered, has leather that is in poor condition I would like to replace it. I know about the wheelskins, but I don't want to go that way now. Notice alot of Expedition and new F150 steering wheels on ebay and just wondering if I could use one of them?
RMS94, Well, there are 3 problems that I could see you having a problem with. 1st being the wheel itself being able to have the proper spline to slide onto the steering column shaft and be properly seated. 2nd is the "Air Bag Sliding Contact" otherwise known as the clock spring needs to be able to plug in to the existing steering column harness. 3rd but not least is the "Air Bag Module" and it needs to be compable also. So basically as long as the spline is the same as well as all the plugins being compatable and the steering wheel itself will fully seat down on the steering column shaft, then I seen no problem. Good Luck.
Get a quality leather stich on wheel cover $20.00. Did last truck couldn't tell from new when done . Do Ebay search for both bronco and Fseiries and check ebay stores on bottom ebay page . I saw new wheel just last week for are trucks was at $50 bucks.
Goodluck
