Since they stopped putting the Warner T98A in trucks at the end of 1964 production and started production of the 300 for trucks in 1965 I don't believe there is a mating bellhousing for a 300 to T98A. Then just to mention the Warner T18 since it was the next generation - it was never installed in the 4WD or F350 series so only the 2WD trucks got that one - you'd be back to most of the same issues of no bellhousings with ear mounts and no bosses for the transfer case shift lever. If you really wanted to install that 300 using the rear bellhousing mount then I'd think the 1965 F100/250 4WDs, 1966 F250 4WDs and 1965/66 F350 series with a 6 cylinder (plus a few newer models, too, see the related threads below) would be the place to get the only eared bellhousing they made for the 300 and it will require a long stickout NP435 if you want a 4 speed. The casting number for that one is C5TA-7505-D and a part number of C5TZ-7505-D.
Thank you sir, your information is greatly appreciated, it's looking more and more like I will be doing some crossmember and bracket fabricating, I do kick myself somewhat for selling the 292 and not just rebuilding it... but alas, I don't move forward looking in the rearview mirror. I'll be doing some searching for these, but right now not coming up with much, good thing I'm not in a rush!

Been slowly doing some searching for the BH off n on, surmising it's pretty much a no-go, so it looks like I'll most likely end up fabbing a mount for the trans and possibly/hopefully be able to incorporate the t-case linkage to it in the process... measure twice, go back, measure 2x more, start to cut, go back, confirm measurements... then still end up off a tad! lol
Hasn't been as busy a winter as last year at this time, but still haven't got around to getting much shop time in lately, now that the stupid time change is happening again, maybe I'll be more apt to head up to my shop than sit my fat a$$ on the couch I did get more lights up, and built some drawers to clean up and organize things so I haven't been completely lazy! And a few times more than not, someone will swing by to say howdy and we end up sittin and having a few beers and catching up, time well spent!
I will probably end up having to buy new rims, as finding 16.5 tires ain hapnin captain.. I'm debating if I can fit these in 15" or if I'll have to go up to 17's https://www.summitracing.com/parts/usm-u10117008245
Mater has 33's on him currently, I may go up to 35's as he has 4.56's to drop rpm's a tad, probably going to have more in tires and rims on him than I do for the truck/engine and everything else!
