I was wondering if anyone can tell me if I need to keep my cat on my '05 6.0L F-350? I have a banks exhaust on and keep my cat, but want to shed it. Ok or a problem??
Thanks all for the help. I am planning on taking the guts out of the cat and putting it back on for inspection. Have a guy that will do the inspection without the muffler but don't want to push my luck. Still trying to get used this chatting stuff. Sorry if I make a mistake. How do I find what I post after I log in? Thanks again!!

Just Take Exhaust Loose After Cat And Ram A Pipe In It A Bunch, Starting It After A While. You Will Blow Out All The Guts And It Will Still Look As If You Have The Cat On The Truck, But Give You The Sound And Spool Up Your After .
let's not start another warranty argument ,technicaly speaking modifing your exsaust could lead to problems with a dealer .
just do what makes you happy with your truck and I'am not a fan of cat's .
