Playing devils advocate.... (what I do really well...as you can see)....

How would they suspect a programmer, when all the tell tale signs are not there? Meaning, they can't lie and put something that they are not sure about... My error could have completely come from towing and the weights involved. If they suspected anything, it should be discussed with the customer. No need to hide behind the white cloak to do a job or be sneaky.

I guess I too could tell them there's a programmer involved, but I truly don't know it's what caused the issue. It could have been a faulty Turbo. Who's to tell?!

I believe that telling them there was a programmer, is just fueling the fire. Tooooo many times I've opened my mouth and said things NOT relative to an issue... to have someone jump on the comment(s) and then use them against me. All too common in our world these days.

... anyway, etiquette of the dealer and the techs in service is an issue. I'll be asking the service manager about my wire, and it being removed. I'm sure I'll get the blank stare.

Could you stick to topic, or is this a personal thing for you?
Let me interject this, before you shove your other foot in your mouth Johnny, Keith is the most reasonable/respectable moderator on this entire site, if you knew the circumstances in which he became a moderator, and the fact that he moderates the most impossible forum on the site, you would retract, recant and appoligize immediatly. But you don't, so you won't, Keith will lock it and leave a post you cannot reply to and then you will go back to where ever it is you hang out, and all of us here will be happy once again.

I call it like I read it... no harm in that is there?

And I'm not inserting any foot, once or twice. If everyone (You for example - seemingly a strong supporter of forum comraderie) was "unhappy" that I'm here or posting... then there's a serious problem that needs to be dealt with, and it's not me. ... with you speaking for "ALL" of you, I sure hope you are one of the heirarchy angels to speak for everyone.

I don't need to know everyone's history, but knowing Keith's history would be important if I was challenging his worthyness... which I am not. So please... don't put words in my mouth, nor make this personal anymore that it is for some.

... and for someone to come on a forum asking for assistance, and to have the first few comments be sarcastic assanine comments that aren't helping the situation, but promoting frustration.... what would you do?

Come to my world, ask some questions... let me be sarcastic, and see what comes from your keyboard.

Lock it... with him getting the last word?! It would just solidify my comments. But it wouldn't bother me in the least bit.

.... and my "thanks for the help" wasn't sarcastic, but it was ONLY to the guys who were trying to be positive and help out.

... so much for FTE being a positive place, more like a KKK rally.

I wouldn't know anything about KKK rallys.

But it is your last words, as it turns out. That has locked the thread.
