monsta our dealer will have the same problem cleaning that leather steering wheel off. just not from me. from the lead footed wife who still misses her 85 gt with it's blown 347 motor.
I didn't care about the power. It was nice and all but THE SOUND OF THAT V8! YUM!
What I don't really understandis how the Mustang seat is better on your back? 'Course, I don't know where you get the pain at but it seems that having to plop yourself DOWN into that car would create back pain in and of itself. I had a hell of a time getting in and out of that darn little car.
Wow, i haven't been able to hit the site near as often as i used to. Mainly outta jealousy towards you guy's and your trucks But i have to say cause of ppl like you Capt and Wrench and a few other's that have taught me that the V-10 is a righteous motor, i no longer look for anything else no matter how many ppl try to tell me about there diesels. I do understand about health problems and how it can keep us from enjoying some things in life. So best wishes with the little stang.
I do have to ask, cause i know you did several mod's to your truck some good some bad. In your opinion was any of it worth it or is the '05 or newer V10 better off just left alone?
leave the 3 valve alone. and the only thing that helped was the tuner i had purchased from sct as it did get a truthfull 30 hp more on on pump gas but that is the max you can get there just isn't any more to get with out major inside the motor work.
monsta
the seats for me really are better and easier to get in and out of i don't have to try to climb up and pull my self into the cab from the head rest seat belt spot. and then slide back down out of. the racaro styleing and 8 way power help more.esp the lumbar inflater.
with the stang i just drop down into and a very slight lift/twist of my six and i'm out. the wifes liberty is the same way. no climbing in and out
it just seems it's the climbing up and drop slideing out that was killing me.
time will tell more but for now both are making my life a bit more enjoyable driveing wise. i know there will be a time when i can't drive any more then i'll really worry. till then i still driveing true ford blue.
Great! The planets havn't converged, and the world isn't ending. Peak oil is quite a ways off and Ford Horsepower jockeys are alive and well. ~Live on and long Krewat~
Well that was a let down.... Art I thought you would have had a more interesting comeback.

This got me thinking. If we got all of our high horsepower vehicles and if we all did a burnout in the same direction at the very same time, could we rotate the plant????
Sorry to see the body dictate what the mind wants, er needs. I really enjoyed reading what you had to say about the V10. When I first got mine, I thought I'd be out purchasing freer flowing this, and better cat back that. Turned out you did that for me and posted the results. As such the drive train in my truck is untouched and much loved. I really feel the V10 crowd is in a class by itself.
Glad you got something you can enjoy out on the road, that's the most important thing. At 45 my back is a talkin' after years of abuse. A car accident here, a motorcycle accident there, and sitting in the woods all day in the winter waiting for Bambi doesn't help. But so far it's tolerable. Believe it not, the seats in the SD are more comfortable (to me) than the seats in the Buick in my sig. Hmmmm go figure. Just a stiffer ride in the rig than the wagon.
Looking forward to more insightful wisdom from you down the road.
Charlie, good luck with your back buddy. I hope the new ride is better on the back for ya.Do you think you could set the hook on a big musky,or do I have to take the pole from you? Take care,be talkin' to ya.
the concert was ok. the lead singer don't sing very much any more. he did a few and the other guys took over from there.still it was marshall tucker's sound. just awsome. 2 songs they did the super long ver.s on real, i'l email you later about it
