I bought a book a few years ago called "How to Volare anything" by Del Christensen. That book would probably answer any questions you had but I don't know if you can get the book anymore. I think it was under $20. His e-maill addy used to be midnight340 "at " yahoo.com

No Limit Engineering sells a how-to video on installing the Chrysler IFS on a 53-56. It gives specific dimensions for that era truck. Probably the best $30 you will spend on your restoration. The good news for 48-52 and 57-64 truck owners is that the frame widths are the same as the 53-56 so it will be the about the same install on those trucks. You just won't be able to use his measurements, use your own.
