My dad worked for a Ford dealer in the 1950s as a mechanic. I hung out there as much as I could. I very well remember when the 57 Fords came out. I remember thinking that the 57 Ford truck was the most handsome truck I had ever seen. I remember thinking "how will they ever top this styling". It is funny how little things like that stick with you for all those years. BTW 57_Ford you have a most handsome truck, it is absolutely gorgous.

Actually the '57 is pretty. I'll admit, more so than my '60. I have a '58 292 V8 graciaously donated by a fellow FTE-er. Still lookin' for the right heads for it. Last week, someone had a set of ECZ-Gs on Ebay for cheap, but they were in California! The shipping would have been very abusive, so I let them go.
