I've got 5x4.75 and 5x5.Like to end up with 1 bolt pattern than has a space saver spare available, Panel's with a class 4 hitch don't have much room for a spare.
Hey AX,
Did you mean 5x5.5 for the 9 inch rear? I will have the same setup except Jag in front which is the chevy pattern. My plan for the spare was to carry the chevy pattern spare (probably a space save with a 5x5.5 to 5x4.75 adapter. I figure that for an emergency run, the adapter is not as limiting as the space saver spare. I may have an extra adapter.

Ax,
You're right about the brakes. I made a couple of calls and everyone has the GM/GM or GM/Volare kits. I was hoping to use the doner parts and the brackets would have been free for my friend wants the nose of the doner. I'm using the rear end of the Lincoln(8.8 with disc) for the 54 as well and it's 5x4 1/2. Mid Fifty sells a prevalved master cylinder and booster which negates the use of check valves and proportioning valve. Anyone familar with these?

I used Willard's idea and carried one 5x4.5 spare and one 5x5 to 5x4.5 wheel adapter and five extra lug nuts to bolt the adapter on with. I did that for years. Incidentally, I had to use the spare only once in about 10 years of driving but it was a life saver that one time.

I suspect it's the same underfloor unit that was on Gracie. The PO shopped at MF for most of the parts. It does come with a combination valve. I plan to reuse the combo valve with my firewall mounted PB setup since it's a disk/disk MC.
