Anyone know where I can locate some frame horns for my 56? The PO cut them to run a smooth valance/no bumper. I'd like to have a bumper again. If anyone knows a source or where I can find measurements to fab them I'd appreciate it!

I have a junk frame that still has a good front section on it...you can have the horns for the cost of my time to cut them off and ship them to you. Send me a PM if you are interested...
I cut mine off years ago and found out shortly after painting it that it was a mistake cutting them off. I let my wife, now ex wife for other reasons take it out for a drive when she came back home i quess she was not use to the manual brakes and bumped into the back of her car and damaged the valance. Now 17 years later i am doing a complete frame up and welded them back on 1.1/2" shorter then stock. I also posted my needs on this site and bingo! a fellow FTE member gave me a set for the cost of shipping. Sorry charlieled for putting you on the spot.
I just so happens I'm in the same boat. I was able to find a pair of horns; now I need to know the stock distance from the crossmember to the end of the horn.
Anyone have that handy? I have a 56.
Thanks.

Measuring from the lower flange of the crossmember to the lower end of the frame horn is 10 inches.
