George,

I wish I could say something that sounds profound or at least witty, but I can't come up with anything.

All I know is your wife obviously loves you, and your baby will too.
You take care of yourself, and everything else will fall in to place.

You know you have a ton of friends here, not the same as drinking a beer on the porch, but still not to bad.

Do what the doctors tell you, and rest, no need to think about work or things that need to be done, just REST.

Keep us posted and don't ever think your babbling!!

Take care and you know you and your family are in my prayers.

I pray my wife never has to prove it, but I hope she loves me as much as your wife loves you.

A very dear friend would not mind you spewing the grit from your grille, George.

Think of us as very dear friends.

We'll keep the lines open, write when you can.

George,

This is the first that I have run across this discussion. I am sorry. Congrats on the (soon) new addition to the family.

I am 28 and have had a melanoma taken off of my arm. Took three different attempts. Chest X-ray is so messed up that there is no way to tell what is going on in there. Seems that I had gotten some infection in the past or maybe into some chemicals that caused a bunch of nodules to form in my lungs. Anything could hide out in there.

I can empathize with what you are going through. Good luck and hang in there. I hope that you have a very good dermatologist to follow you from this point on.

Good luck and God bless.

sorry ive been away. i had to triple up on treatments so i could stay out of hosp untill after the birth and wife were ok.
and then back to the original rant about doctors. my wife last check up the dr said the baby would be 7lb 13 oz. well after 3 days in induced labor she had a healthy (thank god) 9lb 3 1/4 oz boy naturally! she was hurting with that big boy, if the dr was closer on weight we would have went c section!
oh well. i was able to remain stron enough to witness the birth and stay with them a couple days before i was remitted. my mom is looking after me in hosp and her mom looks after her at our house. i will be in and out every day for treatments this week and 1/2 next then in for surgery abain.

its much better on your wife to go the natural way... c-sections are dangerous and the chance for infection and soemthing going wrong is much higher, also the recovery time is much shorter the natural way....

Anatomy & Physiology were my favorite classes....
