The best turn out yet, nice to meet members in person. A garage tour is planned for the Jan. meeting. We hope to have regular meetings about every two months, we need to look for a more suitable place to meet. The A&W is ok but the super rush was on at the start of the meeting, a better idea would be to meet a little later in the evening.
As some members are short of a garage to work in during the winter, it would be nice someday to get a club garage like the Draggins but that`s a way off yet.

It will take some time for a club garage, first a budget then a good plan to follow. At least a better meeting location soon.

Hi everyone.
It was great to finally meet some fellow Ford enthusiasts!
The 'Dubs usually caters to car clubs- I wonder if they would work with us on meetings. The manager could likely suggest a night that is slow for them, and in return might reserve a whole area for us. They have traditionally been "the" place to show off a nice set of wheels, and it sure won't hurt his business.
They might even be interested in hosting a Show & Shine meet for us in the summer. Would be great publicity for them and us!

Thanks Rick, good ideas here, that`s what we need to get started.
It was great to finally meet you and the the other Ford Truck
Enthusiasts to put names to the faces!
A Show & Shine would be great if we can get enough together, something to shoot for next summer. Time for a thread on this.

Yeah it was cool to meet everyone really weird though meeting someone on the internet then seeing them on person but really cool thats exactly what my dad said since a lot of people dont have garages to work on there vehicles should get a club or something going raise money to buy/ build a garage or even rent out one or something like that cause like for me ex. i have no place to work on my vehicle when i plan to go get my 79 in the spring with the 460...

Yes, Dustin had his truck and his dad at the meeting. You were just too busy eating to see anything....but I guess a man has to do what he has to do when he hauling Ford tin around.
