Troyer Performance needs the computer code off my truck for my new tuner they're customizing.
When I opened up the hood, on the driver's side firewall, there is a silver/metallic oval on the firewall with three cords coming out of it. Is the code on here? If not, does anyone know where it might be located?
Thanks!
Bill
I found mine on the left side of the firewall above the engine... you'll see the big harnesses on the silver rectangular box... you'll see the code on a sticker somewhere on there.
My code was J something...
Edit:
Here's the directions from Troyer for the F150s, but mine was in the same spot...
Simply open the hood and locate the PCM (Powertrain Conrtrol Module) - it is at the top of the firewall, just left of center. It looks like a shiny rectangular-shaped aluminum box, and has three (3) separate wiring harness connectors on teh front of it. You will find the code either right on the PCM or very close to it (usually just to the right side of the PCM on the firewall), on a sticker. The format will be 3 letters followed by 1 number, like BME8, or MSE6, etc. - there are many different PCM codes for 2004, but they will always be in that exact same format of 3 letters followed by 1 number.

I think I found it ... the sticker was faded and had a bar code on it with the numbers 9880 on it, and then below that in very very small letter was a code with 3 letters and a number, which I'm assuming that's it. That's the only sticker I could find on it.
