where is the computer code

I have a 2000 Excursion with 7.3 and I am wondering where I would find my computer code. I need the code for a chip or programmer. Correct?

it is in the front of the drivers door jam(by the door hinges) on a white sticker. it is also on the ECU cover and on the ECU case(too get it from the last two locations you have to remove the ECU)
