Hey red star, does that 3.5 feel like it has 250 hp to you ? The ones I drove in the chrysler 300 m felt weak, the 3.7 in the dakota felt stronger. Also have heard others say that they didn't think the 3.5 was producing no 250 hp.
My Intrepid has 214 hp, but it does feel more powerfull.
All that means is that you have to have weird tools to work on it.
No, it requires a whole new vocabulary of four-letter words, too. I've done a little wrenching on German stuff, and while you have to admire the engineering, it's pretty clear the philosophy of K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid) is not common there.
My wife loves her Magnum with the Hemi. If you keep your foot out of it she will get in the lower to mid 20MPG's. Lots of room to haul the dog boxes, grain for the horses an occasional bale or two. Drives like it is on rails and I fit. 6'10" 340, First thing we do when car shopping is see if I fit.
Jeff
Well the reason for buying is:
Something good on fuel (30+ mpg)
Must have soild front end (nothing short: etc focus..)
Something that looks decent
And needs to be able to last.
Ever thought about the GMs?
The 3.5 Chryslers won't get you 30+ mpg, that's for sure. A 3.5L GM in a Malibu or Impala might though.
