If memory serves me, Ford started putting the roller cams in the 302's in 85. I know they went into the Mustangs. I had an 88 Lincoln LSC that had a roller 302 in it. So It would make sense that your truck would at least have a roller ready block, if not a roller cam in it. I wish I could be more specific but I'm sure someone here knows for sure.
