clunk niose in breaks

clunk niose in breaks

would the pins in the break caliper make a clunk type noise? I also have bad ball joints would t;hey make the noise. Will be doing the work this weekend just wanted to know if i need more parts.

It's very possible that bad ball joints will give you a clunk when braking.

Bad ball joints would make that noise. Make sure the caliper pins are not frozen while you are in there though. I went to replace the needle bearing in the hub and the damn caliper pins were seized i did not even know it before i pulled it.

My truck has been making the same noise, along with some other weird sounds. Come to find out I have bad ball joints too. I'll probably start that project next weekend.

Just wondering where are you getting your ball joints?
