Power window

Hi,

Is there a way to "grease" the power window ?
When opening drivers side,it really slows down halfway.

Thanks

Pat

Yeah, take off the door panel and go for it. Not sure what year and model you have but, for my 1998 it is pretty easy to take off door panel. Remove the long slender trim piece above edge of door by pulling straight out, and do the same with the little triangular piece above the hinge side of the door panel. Pop out little circle trim piece near handle, then remove the handle by unscrewing the bolt that holds the handle to the door. No need to remove that bolt all the way, just enough so it frees it up from the door. Pull door panel straight up, not out and there you have it. I guess you can remove all the wiring connections if you don't have any helpers, but I had my 10 year old just kind of hold the door panel away from the door as I poked in there with grease to hit the tracks and the X-Spot where the 2 pieces that slide along the tracks come together.
