You probably whacked something and didn't realize it. I did that on my '00 SD. Never even knew I hit anything, just happened to notice the bent stabilizer one day. Only reason I knew I hit something was the "obvious" mark it left on the casing of the stabilizer.

i bent mine on my 1995 f350 when on some sand dunes, i got air in the front and the suspension bottomed out and slammed my stabilizer, just bent it though, it worked fine anyways.

Yeah I remember getting a lot air in the front of the truck going over sand and rocks. I run 35 inch BFG that are almost worn out. I took of the stabilizer off and its' able to make sharper turns. Will i have problems leaving the stabilizer off. I know when i get my 38 in swampers i will have to put a steering stabilizer.
