no power, speed going uphill
Hello, I am a first time user. My first post.
I have a 1998 F150 4.6L V8 with a manual tranny(4speed and O/D). I purchased the vehicle new and noticed this problem on it's first climb. When I start going uphill at Hiway speed ( in 3rd or 4th gear around let's say 60 MPH) I will start to loose speed. Naturall I step on the gas but I get no response even if I floored the pedal. The speed nor the RPM increases. I will continue to loose speed as I climb. Any ideas?
