Cool No power, speed going uphill

Ok, let's try this again. I am new here and I post on welcome section. So here is my problem. I have a 1998 F150, 4.6l V8, manual tranny- 4speed with O/D. When I am going uphill at Hway speed(let say 60 mph) the truck loose speed. With Pedal to the metal it gains no speed or RPM, in any gear. As long as I am going up I continue to loose speed. I purchase the truck new and I noticed the problem on my first hill climb. The dealer found no problem.Any suggestion?

You need to post this in the 1998 truck section or the trans section or engins section. It sounds like to me that it could be several things. It sounds like the trans needs to drop out of OD and isn't. That could be a miss adjusted kick down lever, vacumm leak, computer problem or a few other things that I can't think of right now. Check in the 98 truck section and if this is a typical problem they will point you the correct solution.
