driveshaft clunk?

driveshaft clunk?
sometimes when i take off after i have parked my truck when i start to go it feels like its not hardly going than i feel a clunk and off she goes, doesnt do it all the time, but just started noticing it today and it happened twice. any ideas on what i should check for? its a 2003 crew cab short bed 4x4. it recently had the rear carrier replaced if that helps.

im with u brother. my 2006 does the same thing! doesnt do it all the time but somtimes when i take off from a stop sign or somthing. it hessitates, then makes a sound like a driveshaft clunk (like theres slop in the driveshaft). only thing i could think of is there is a slip in the tranny, delaying the power to the driveshaft. if that turns out to be the case, id be very dissapointed that a 2006 with 10,000 miles, that has never towed or been hot rodded would have tranny issues. all i can say is, im glad im not the only one!

if you two have a two-piece drive shaft then there is a chance the slip yoke is dry. get some teflon grease or take it to your dealer which they should have some there anyway. if you love it lube it!! lol
