OK, so you know people that dont care about themselves OR their family. They will risk their job so YOU can have a cool looking truck. So you know the pathetic loser that dosent care about anything but you.....and YOUR truck.....Have at him.....alike kind do stick together.....I run with men that actually care about their job and family....Sheesh...it takes all kinds huh BUDDY?
Its easier to re-title, but whatever. I have only done this for 20 years.....
And BTW, I know EVERY way to cheat on these tests but not one way to get away with it for an extended period of time. Using a fake vin wont work when your friend is gone or a state cop checks out the sticker when its obvious it shouldnt pass test. Or when you sell it and the vin comes up as never tested.
I figure you know a better way or at least claim to...but whatever.........
get all defencive I personaly don't give a sh** I just know that I or any of my friends have never had any problems. I had a chevy that was lifted about 8" and got pulled for everything from no taillights to speeding 30 over but never a peep about the lift. the cops up this way have better things to do with our tax dollors, I guess.

Ummmm, OK?? And the title of the truck seems to say it all though. A homemade truck or farm truck do not follow the same rules as a non-commercial(reg) truck. As the counties tie into the main system it will all catch up. I am not an enforcer by any means, I just have seen the end result more than once about people getting caught. The sticker is tied to a vin that is tied to a owner and an inspector. At some point(usually when the truck is sold) it all catches up.
AND IF you want me to anything to your grits.......ill take mine with cheese..
No need to argue guys, just looking for a way to make my truck louder without upsetting the machine... InstantGrits, I dont care about this truck enough to do all that as I am hoping to get something new, but I'll keep your way in the back of the ol' knoggen to use later on.
OBD-II emissions are here to stay, and are going to expand the counties requiring those tests. As of January 1, 2006, all vehicles older than 1996 are exempt from the tailpipe sniffer emissions testing, and vehicles 30 (maybe 35) years old or older are exempt from all inspection, safety and emissions.
But there are less and less old cars on the road each year. It's not worth it for inspection stations to keep their expensive sniffer equipment operational when most of the inspections are the newer OBD-II vehicles.
