Just do like I did - get a BIG truck. NC law also exempts any vehicle weight over 8900 lbs GVWR.
Oh, and since my Excursion is classified as a 'Passenger' vehicle and not a 'Property Hauling' vehilce (pick-up), I don't have to get weighted tags.
For the first time in my life, I got to 'fall thru the cracks' and I'm loving it!!
