um, yeah, if the nuts don't come with them, how are you supposed to "bolt" them to the roof? for $2 each, they should be gold plated.. you should compare the ones from ford and then at home depot. i would only get them in stainless steel.
Thanks for the info Ed! Ready to order, but people are talking about nuts that Ford sells for $2 apiece. Are these included in the assembly or something that can be had at the local nut store? 2 bits seems a little pricy for a nut. Thanks again!
found the part number for the nuts N621903S301 they list for $2.20 ea, wow
I can sell them for $1.32 ea, but I would just go to hardware store and get them. $2.20 ea makes it real hard to try and sell these.
How much more clearence does this add to the top of the cab? 1", 1/2", ? I have little to no room to add due to garage clearence and office garage clearence so am curious . . .
Ed, thanks for the nutty nut info. Ugh, sorry. Yeah, those had best be plated with some real bling for that price! ACE it is. But, man, shipping takes forever from Washington. I ordered the lights from you on Sunday and I won't see them until early next week. Can't fault you guys though, you got 'em out next day, but UPS must take the scenic route to the Midwest!
Good point on the clearace issue, LoneWolf. I cut it pretty close in my garage as well. But I think I have the room. I'd say it is another 1-1/2 inch or so but it is on the lower part of the roof (the front slope), so I bet it is negligable at the peak, and that is why they are called clearance lights I guess, not just marker lights!

You are welcome, Yea UPS has commercials all over the radio stating they get shipments there a day or two earlier! I would hope so for what they charge us. But it should only take 3 to 4 days with ground service. Let me know how the lights turn out for you.
