not to hijack but
Is there a fix for the clouding on my 91 Headlights? It looks like a dirty fishtank. I see alot of early 90's trucks like this so it must be common. Any fixes?
As far as cleaning up cloudy headlights goes...my Ford dealer had a "kit" which I bought and used very successfully and then figured out pretty much what was in the "kit" : use rubbing alcohol wet clean white paper towel and go over lights until all yellow and black stop coming onto towel (change towel often) then when completely dry take a POLISHING compound (or plastic polish) and work on the lights rub only side to side, do not rub in circle.
Then when haze forms take this off with more rubbing alcohol-the alcohol will temporarely clear the plastic lights so you can see if you need to do the POLISH again, when satisfied and completely dry apply Future floor wax (made for vinyl floors) very spairingly with something like a cheap foam paint brush let dry completely and re-coat let dry again & you're good to go.
